Everything homeowners ask us

Twelve years of Seabrook driveways, distilled. Don't see your question? Call us β€” we'll walk you through it on the phone at no charge.

How much does garage door spring replacement cost?

Standard residential torsion springs run $220–$340 installed for a single-car door and $340–$480 for a two-car door, depending on cycle rating (10k, 20k, 30k). We always replace in matched pairs.

How long do garage door springs last?

A standard 10,000-cycle spring lasts about 7 years for a family that opens the door 4Γ—/day. Upgrade to 20k or 30k cycle springs to double or triple lifespan for only $40–$80 more.

Do you charge extra for weekend or after-hours calls?

No. Weekend, evening and holiday service is billed at the same flat rate as weekday work. That's part of why we exist.

My door only opens 6 inches then stops. What's wrong?

Usually a broken spring β€” the opener's safety circuit senses the door is too heavy and reverses. Don't force it. Call and we'll confirm on the phone.

My opener light flashes 10 times and won't close. Why?

Safety sensor misalignment. The two photo-eyes at the bottom of the tracks need to face each other with steady LEDs. We realign for free with any tune-up.

Can you install a smart Wi-Fi opener?

Yes. LiftMaster myQ, Chamberlain B4545 and Genie Aladdin Connect are our top three. Install includes app setup and a phone walkthrough with you.

Do you install doors from Amarr, Clopay or C.H.I.?

Yes β€” all three, plus Wayne Dalton. We're a certified dealer for Amarr and C.H.I., which means better warranty coverage.

How long does a full door installation take?

A standard single-car install: 3–4 hours. Two-car: 4–6 hours. Custom or wind-code doors: schedule a full day.

What warranty do you offer?

1-year workmanship warranty on repairs, 5-year on new-door installs, plus the manufacturer's warranty on parts (usually 1–15 years depending on component).

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes β€” licensed for residential and light-commercial garage door work in Texas, with $2M general liability and workers' comp coverage. Certificates on request.

Do you work on commercial rolling doors?

Yes. Coiling steel doors, storefront grilles and high-cycle sectional units for warehouses and retail across the Bay Area.

My remote stopped working after I changed the battery.

Some openers need re-pairing when the remote loses power. Free 3-minute walkthrough on the phone β€” call us anytime.
